Design

Waste bedding material is deposited by personnel into a dump station connected to the conveyance system. Waste materials, including bedding, food pellets, enrichments and other organics, are metered into the conveyance system to ensure clog-free operation as material is conveyed. Material is collected in an external receiver, were it is metered into the waste container(s) to ensure even and complete filling.

All system operations are monitored and controlled by a PLC based system via full color touch screens at both the dump station and waste container receiver. System operating status and container levels are easily viewed and tracked.

The GF series package is ideal for customers looking to automate waste bedding removal with restrictions regarding disposal container type. This system can accommodate everything from open dumpsters down to multiple garbage totes.

Application

The PVS Process Equipment GF Series Waste Bedding Disposal System is designed to pneumatically convey waste bedding material from one or more dump stations over a distance of up to 800 feet vertically and horizontally to a wide variety of open waste container.

This system is intended for use in both stand-alone (manual or batch wash) and integrated (continuous wash) applications where waste removal consumes significant staff resources. Due to its mobile dump station configuration and ability to work within the confines of the designated waste containers, this system can be easily adapted to unique facility requirements.
